2. KL Tower
Menara KL Tower is Malaysia’s most recognizable and popular landmark. Constructed in 1994, the tower stands at 421 metres, highest and most spectacular view of the city. Menara KL’s viewing deck is, at 276 metres, at least 100 metres higher than the Petronas Twin Towers’ Skybridge; the view is marvellous during the day and even better at night when you can see the entire sparkling city centre

3. King’s Palace
An official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia. It is located along Jalan Tunku Abdul Halim (formerly Jalan Duta) in Segambut. The palace opened in 2011 and it replaced the old Istana Negara. The palace complex is splited into three main portions, the Formal Component, Royal Component and Administration Component.

4. National Monument
The National Monument is a sculpture that commemorates those who died in Malaysia’s struggle for freedom, principally against the Japanese occupation during World War II and the Malayan Emergency, which lasted from 1948 until 1960.

5. Sultan Abdul Samad Building
It is a late-nineteenth century building located along Jalan Raja in front of the Dataran Merdeka (Independence Square) and the Royal Selangor Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The building originally housed the offices of the British colonial administration and then it was renamed after Sultan Abdul Samad, the reigning sultan of Selangor during that time when construction began.

6. Independence Square
It is situated in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. Literally Independence Square. It was here the Union Flag was lowered and the Malayan flag hoisted for the first time at midnight (time: 12:00 AM) on 31 August 1957.
